Are you ready, Luigi fans? Expect it.
Just a little while ago, we published an article titled “Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon Coming To Wii U?” after it was noticed to be listed on retailer Newegg’s website. Now, we’ve seen retailer’s make mistakes with release dates, product information; the works.
A few tell-tale signs only point to an imminent Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon port release for the Wii U, however. The $39.99 price tag, the listing in the Wii U games category, and even a pre-order option for the title (which we’ve already successfully done) are all pretty good indicators alone. Oh, it also happens to be the Year of Luigi.
Most importantly, we decided to contact Newegg for further clarification on the product listing. I mean, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon coming to Wii U is nothing to take lightly. It was a great game on the Nintendo 3DS system and we only see as being more intuitive with the Wii U GamePad, Miiverse, and potential updates! We wanted to make sure we didn’t just run into an inaccurate listing.
Here’s our chat session with Newegg, which have guaranteed the accuracy of the product listing.
Hi, my name is Lydia. How may I help you?
Kevin: Good day!
Kevin: I recently noticed a product listing on your website and would like to know more information about it.
Kevin: This is the product in question: <a href=”http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16878190377″ target=”_blank”>http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16878190377</a>
Lydia: Thank you for providing me with that information. I will be more than happy to assist you. May I please place you on hold for a moment while I look into this?
Kevin: Sure thing, Lydia. Thank you.
Lydia: Thank you for holding and you are welcome, Kevin. We have listed all the applicable information from the manufacturers on the website. All the information you see on Newegg.com comes directly from the manufacturer. We guarantee the information provided on our website. Unfortunately, the information that is not specified on our webpage will have to be obtained from the manufacturer. Their phone# is 1-800-255-3700.
Kevin: So, having said that, you’re confirming to me that Nintendo has released those details to Newegg. And, most importantly, that the subject listing is, in fact, accurate?
Lydia: All the information on the item page is from the manufacturer and we do guarantee that information.
Kevin: That’s a good enough answer for me then. I appreciate your time, Lydia.
Kevin: Have a wonderful day.
Lydia: My pleasure. :) Do you have any other questions?
Kevin: Not at this time. Thank you, though.
Lydia: You are welcome. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to serve you. Before we end our chat, I want to invite you to take our Customer Satisfaction Survey. To take the survey, all you need to do is click the “End session” at the top of the chat window. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you for contacting Newegg. I hope you have an eggcellent day!
If that doesn’t send a clear, promising message, I’m sure a future announcement from Nintendo, via Nintendo Direct, could seal the deal for this spooky-manored mystery. Further updates will be provided as we receive them.
